Remote Monitoring and Customer Solutions is the global competence centre within the Schindler Group for new service offerings and products. Our mission is to ｃｒｅａｔｅ technical solution implementations for the new business moｄｅｌs and enhance customer experience by using cutting edge technology. We are developing digital products from idea to industrialization. To further strengthen our international team, we are looking for an experienced Application Developer with a focus on developing and supporting an application based on C# .ｎｅｔ, SQL Server and Azure.
Role and responsibilities:
Develop high quality solutions, bug fixes and new features with the development teams
Monitor the application ecosystem and maintain high levels of system availability
Provide ongoing maintenance, support to the existing application infrastructure
Support users by troubleshooting issues, identify root causes, and implement remedies
Testing and debugging of new applications and features
Contribute to software documentation
Work closely with other specialists and teams as required
Experience/Tech:
Minimum 5 years experience with Application development and support
Minimum 3 years experience with .ｎｅｔ framework (ASP.ｎｅｔ, C#), Entity Framework, REST/WCF/SOAP, MVC
Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure a plus)
Experience with Docker including composing images and troubleshooting (Kuberｎｅｔes a plus)
Experience with Linux: SSH/Bash/Cron/Package Manager/Systemd
Experience with automated unit and integration testing
Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ & Elasticsearch (or other document databases) a plus
Experience with DevOps practices and tools a plus
Personal:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Is a team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a high level of flexibility
Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude, self-motivated and result oriented
Experience in working in a multinational company is a plus
